SAT Mexico Corporate Human Rights Policy

1. Statement of Commitment

At SAT Mexico, we believe that respect for human rights is a fundamental principle for the development of responsible and sustainable tourism.

We are committed to conducting our business ethically by promoting a workplace that is safe, inclusive, and respectful of human dignity. We are dedicated to respecting the rights and dignity of everyone with whom we interact, including our employees, clients, suppliers, business partners, local communities, and all other stakeholders.

We reject all forms of discrimination, violence, exploitation, forced labor, child labor, human trafficking, harassment, or any practice that violates internationally recognized human rights.

Our commitment extends throughout our value chain and forms an integral part of our corporate sustainability strategy.

2. Purpose

This Policy establishes the principles and commitments that guide SAT Mexico’s activities to promote, respect, and protect human rights throughout all of our operations and business relationships.

4.7 Prohibition of Forced Labor

We will neither participate in nor establish business relationships with organizations that engage in forced labor, bonded labor, human trafficking, modern slavery, or any other form of labor exploitation.

Employees

All employees are responsible for:

  • Complying with this Policy.
  • Treating every individual with dignity and respect.
  • Reporting any suspected violations of human rights.

Suppliers

Suppliers are expected to:

  • Comply with the principles established in this Policy.
  • Cooperate during supplier assessments or evaluations whenever requested.

9. Reporting Human Rights Concerns

Any individual may report, in good faith, any situation that may represent a potential human rights violation.

SAT Mexico will investigate all reports confidentially and, where appropriate, implement corrective actions, which may include:

  • Internal investigations.
  • Additional training.
  • Requests for corrective action.
  • Temporary suspension of business relationships.
  • Contract termination.

10. Training

SAT Mexico promotes periodic training programs covering topics including:

  • Human rights.
  • Diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Harassment prevention.
  • Child protection.
  • Responsible tourism.
  • Ethical conduct.

11. Policy Review

This Policy shall be reviewed at least every two years or earlier whenever significant changes occur in legislation, international standards, or the Company’s corporate strategy.

12. Alignment with International Standards

This Policy is based on the principles established by:

  • The Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
  • The United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
  • The Fundamental Conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO).
  • The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • International best practices in sustainable and responsible tourism.

SAT Mexico will keep this Policy under continuous review to ensure ongoing alignment with evolving international standards and best practices.
