Your journey begins with an early pick-up from your hotel in the Riviera Maya, heading toward one of the most awe-inspiring archaeological sites in the world—Chichen Itzá, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Explore this legendary city with a certified bilingual guide, who will walk you through its astonishing architecture and deep cosmological meaning—from the towering Temple of Kukulkán to the Ball Court, Temple of the Warriors, and Sacred Cenote.
After the visit, cool off with a swim in a nearby cenote, one of the natural limestone sinkholes that the Maya believed to be sacred gateways to the underworld. Then, enjoy a delicious lunch featuring regional flavors. (This day we do not include the visit to Valladolid.) From here, your guide will coordinate your connection with a private driver, who will transfer you comfortably to Mérida, where you’ll check in to your hotel and settle in for the evening.
